I’m Tyeasha, a portrait photographer and studio owner living in Elmira, New York. My work lives somewhere between fine art and editorial portraiture, influenced by paintings, fashion magazines, cinema, and the way a single photograph can tell an entire story.

I’m drawn to thoughtful styling, strong composition, and the small details that make a portrait feel personal. I want the finished work to feel polished and artistic without losing the movement, personality, and familiar expressions that make someone recognizable as themselves.

I don’t believe being photographed should feel like a performance. My studio gives us room to slow down, talk, try things, change direction, and create without racing through a checklist of poses. You’ll be guided throughout the process, but there will always be space for you to simply be yourself.

Hospitality is just as important to me as the photographs. I want people to feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely known while they are here. Some of my favorite parts of a session happen between photographs, in the conversations, the laughter, and the moments when someone begins to relax and trust the process.
